Yesterday our MacDonald Thompson Trophy team beat Waimairi Beach at Avondale, 4½/1½! Next Sunday we host Avondale.
Our Masters team, although going down 3½/5½ to Burnham Golf Club Christchurch at Hororata Golf Club, still advanced to the semi-finals due to other results going our way 😅... Good luck for the semi vs Tai Tapu at Lincoln in a fortnight!! 🤞

Saturday also saw our Shootout take place, 19 teeing off on the 1st with one player eliminated each hole. After some exciting and tense play Pat Youngman (4 h/cap) prevailed on the 18th over Raymond Williams to become the 2024 champion!
